Slim 0.8mm on-road shell built for balance tuning

The Tamiya 47529 ENEOS X Prime GR Supra body set is a 1/10-scale polycarbonate shell created for on-road chassis tuning. Using a 0.8mm wall thickness reduces weight compared to 1.0mm shells, assisting in lowering the model's center of gravity and influencing handling during setup changes.

Detailing remains faithful to the original styling: separate polycarbonate front light cases are provided (these are not designed to accept LEDs), and aerodynamic canards are molded into the shell. The side mirrors and rear spoiler come as separate black ABS parts to make finishing easier while keeping a realistic look. Included decal sheets and window masks help with painting and livery application, and metal mounting components are supplied for secure attachment to the chassis.

Compatibility is defined by chassis type: the body fits TA08, TC-01, standard TT-02 (does not fit TT-02B, TT-02T or TT-02FT), and BT-01 cars. The product is packed in a cardboard box suitable for storage and transport.

The shell needs standard polycarbonate preparation before painting; use the included window masks and apply polycarbonate-specific paints for best results.

Are the ABS mirror and wing parts robust enough for competition?

ABS parts provide good cosmetic detail and reasonable strength, but like most external parts they can be damaged in impacts; they are supplied as separate pieces so they are easy to replace if needed.

What hardware is supplied to attach the body?

Metal mounting parts are included to secure the shell to standard body posts; use the usual body post spacing for the specified chassis types.

Will the thinner shell noticeably change lap performance?

Reducing body weight with a 0.8mm shell can change weight distribution and lower CG, which may affect handling and lap consistency, but any performance change depends on your full setup and driving style.
