Pink ringless 13mm aluminium roller for Mini 4WD

This 13mm aluminium ball race roller is presented as a spare option for experienced Mini 4WD modellers. The ringless construction removes the outer retaining lip, which changes the roller edge profile and can affect interaction with guide rails and stabiliser arrangements on common Mini 4WD frames. This component is supplied as a replacement roller, not as a chassis assembly.

Compatibility notes: the part is designed to suit standard Mini 4WD roller mounts and typical axle hardware used with Tamiya-style performance chassis. When fitting to MA, MS, AR, FM-A and similar performance frames, check for lateral clearance and the correct spacer stack to keep expected contact behaviour. This is not aimed at non-performance ranges like Wild Mini 4WD or Scale Mini 4WD.

Fit and service: the aluminium body provides a hard wearing contact face and the ball-bearing internals will need occasional cleaning and light lubrication suitable for small bearings. Inspect for play after installation and replace if bearing tolerance rises. Consider the roller's small mass when tuning roll inertia and balance.

Installation considerations: use compatible roller shafts and spacers when available and confirm axle length and clip engagement before finalising assembly. Verify alignment under static load and ensure the roller spins freely without rubbing the chassis or stabilisers.

They match standard Mini 4WD shafts and mounts, but you should verify shaft diameter and spacer thickness on your specific chassis.
The absence of the retaining ring alters edge contact and can reduce snagging on walls, which may change rebound and corner behaviour depending on mounting height.
Light cleaning and a drop of light oil every few race sessions will keep them running; do not use heavy grease that attracts debris.
Where axle length and mount geometry allow, they can be used in either position; check for stabiliser interference.
Aluminium may show light scuffs with regular use; inspect surfaces and replace if damage starts to affect line or rotation.
