This kit reproduces the German Sd.Kfz 222 four-wheel-drive armoured reconnaissance car in 1/35 scale, included in Tamiya's military modelling line for precise exterior representation.

Developed in the 1930s, the Sd.Kfz 222 served as a light reconnaissance vehicle through much of the Second World War. Characteristic features include welded armor panels, an open-topped rotating turret fitted with mesh deflectors, a 20mm main gun with a coaxial 7.92mm machine gun, and a four-wheel-drive chassis designed for improved cross-country mobility.
