The Yokomo YOKD154-15 rod end adapter is a 15mm aluminium extension crafted for lower A-arms paired with narrow steering blocks, commonly provided with drift equipment.
It functions by substituting or lengthening the lower ball end to obtain a 15mm reach, allowing adjustments to toe and roll centre without modifying the arm's shape. This is useful where a narrow steering block dictates a particular rod end offset.
To install: detach the original ball end from the lower A-arm linkage, mount the adapter onto the linkage or tie-rod and secure with the correct hardware for your chassis. Verify steering range and suspension travel after installation and inspect for interference at full lock.
Tuning advice: use small increments when altering static toe or roll-centre, then re-measure wheel alignment. These small changes can significantly affect drift performance on 1/10 models, so trial and error on the track is recommended.
