Overview of the Sakura D4 AWD Sport Black by 3Racing

The 3Racing Sakura D4 AWD Sport Black, model KIT-D4AAWDS/BK, gives a ready chassis platform geared toward drift practice and tuning sessions. It combines straightforward setup with components that can be upgraded as skills progress.

Bodywork and Visuals

This black variant replaces the traditional Sakura pink for a more subdued profile, while the silver wheels give a neat contrast that suits both practice days and casual events.

Upgrade Options

The layout supports common aftermarket parts such as the aluminum steering system (#SAK-D4819) and optional brass weight kits (#SAK-D4801, SAK-D4802 series), sold separately to fine-tune weight distribution and steering response.

Setup and Driveability

The mono shock setup enhances traction and reduces routine adjustments, and the simplified front upper arms make caster tuning quick for adapting to different track surfaces.

Build and Parts Fit

Standard knuckles are compatible with the D3 and D4 Sport Edition brake disc set (#SAK-D301/V2). The front one-way system is included to help replicate a handbrake action for drift entries.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1/10
  • Drivetrain: All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
  • Chassis: Pre-assembled with black anodized aluminum parts
  • Suspension: Adjustable with mono shock
  • Color: Black with silver rims

For hobbyists who plan to customise suspension or add weight options, the KIT-D4AAWDS/BK offers a convenient starting point with room to evolve as driving skill increases.

They are awesome! You guys are awesome! Had what i needed and they arrived in a timely manner. No damage, etc. Would buy again, would recommend.
Yes, its AWD layout and adjustable suspension make it suitable for club-level drift events after setup and tyre selection.
Brass weight balancers change the centre of mass and can noticeably alter rotation and transition behaviour, especially for heavier setups.
The pre-assembled chassis leaves space for standard servos and speed controllers; check fitment against your chosen electronics before purchase.
Inspect key settings after a few run sessions and after any impacts; caster and shock tuning are the most frequent adjustments for drifting.
