This rear shock tower is a graphite plate upgrade for the Tamiya FF-03 chassis, identified as model FF03-16/WO. It replaces the factory rear shock mount to raise the structural rigidity and provide a firmer mounting surface for rear suspension components during setup and on-track use.
Because graphite flexes less than standard plastic mounts, the tower helps to maintain repeatable suspension settings when you alter shock mounting positions, spring rates, or ride height. It is aimed at electric touring and race-prepped FF-03 models and should be treated as a performance hop-up rather than a complete rear module.
Installation requires removal of the rear body mounts and the original shock tower, then securing this replacement tower to the chassis using the existing mounting points and supplied or factory hardware; confirm hole alignment before final tightening. The tower then provides a consistent reference for adjusting shock geometry to influence rear traction and transient response.
