Pinion Gear 17 Tooth (0.5M Module)

The MG217T/0.5M is an RC motor pinion cut for a 0.5mm module with 17 teeth and a 2.2mm motor bore. It is manufactured from 40Cr steel and finished in hardened black to offer improved wear resistance over standard parts.

The design incorporates a round motor hole and is clamped using two 3x3 set screws to secure the pinion to the motor shaft. Prior to fitting, verify both the module and the bore diameter on your motor so the pinion meshes correctly with the spur gear.

As an aftermarket option the MG217T/0.5M allows ratio adjustments or direct replacement of worn pinions; the hardened surface helps lengthen service intervals but the core tooth profile remains unchanged, so check mesh and backlash once installed.
