50mm Titanium Turnbuckle Built for Durability

The HUDY 992550 turnbuckle is machined from titanium and supplied as a matched left/right pair for 50mm link-length applications. It is intended to let you fine-tune steering and suspension geometry while resisting corrosion and wear better than many softer alloys.

To install, remove the old turnbuckle, pair each threaded end with the mating rod end, and adjust both sides until the targeted length is reached. Take care with thread direction and engagement to prevent cross-threading and ensure reliable fitment.

From a longevity perspective, titanium provides strong fatigue resistance and good corrosion behavior, helping the link maintain setting through routine running and minor impacts. Inspect threads regularly after heavy use or hits to confirm integrity.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Titanium naturally resists many forms of corrosion better than common steels and aluminium alloys; that makes it a good choice in humid or coastal environments with regular maintenance.
Inspect the straightness of the turnbuckle, thread condition and mating rod ends for deformation. Replace any part that shows thread damage or bending to avoid failures during running.
Keep threads clean and dry, and apply a light anti-seize or suitable thread lubricant if desired to prevent galling; clean off excess to retain accurate length settings.
In many cases titanium will show better fatigue and corrosion resistance than softer aluminium alloys, extending service life when inspected and maintained properly under use.
