The Arrowmax am-210023 silicone diff fluid comes in a 59ml bottle with a nominal viscosity of 10,000cst, designed for filling scale R/C differential housings to influence traction bias and overall chassis balance without altering mechanical parts.
This fluid is compatible with most standard R/C diffs that are designed to use silicone oil as the damping medium. Its function is tuning: using a higher viscosity increases the diff's internal resistance and limits relative wheel speed, while a lower viscosity permits freer differential action.
Installation is straightforward for experienced hobbyists. Remove the differential according to your chassis instructions, open the housing, drain the previous fluid, add the recommended amount to the gear and spider assembly, then reassemble and check operation. Keep components clean and avoid introducing debris into the oil.
Setup tip: try this 10,000cst grade when you need a firmer diff without swapping internals. Be aware that diff oil choice will change handling balance and will interact with tyre compound, shock settings, and drivetrain ratios, so iterate changes and test on your usual surface.
