The YS Engine YSR6205 cylinder liner is supplied as a service spare for 61H-class RC engines. It restores internal cylinder geometry when installed during engine overhaul and is written to explain fitment and handling rather than make performance promises.
Fitment is straightforward for technicians familiar with model engine rebuilds: remove the head and piston, extract the old sleeve, check the barrel and piston for wear marks, then press the new liner into place using correct workshop methods. Make sure sealing surfaces are clean and use the manufacturer's recommended torque settings when putting the engine back together.
In workshop practice the liner is used to re-establish compression and bore dimensions after wear. Track operating hours and inspect the piston and ring condition to determine whether additional parts should be renewed for reliable running.
Include this liner in scheduled rebuilds to renew cylinder condition and support stable operation; confirm dimensional fit on your 61H-series engine before installation.
