The YS Engine YSS8110 connecting rod is intended as a service replacement for YS 61ST-2 glow engines. It transmits piston reciprocation to the crankshaft while helping maintain alignment and component longevity under operating loads.

Supplied to match factory part-number fitment, this rod replaces worn or damaged originals on 61ST-2 engines and keeps the correct big-end and small-end interfaces to uphold timing and compression geometry.

Before installation inspect the crankpin and wrist pin for wear, replace any worn bearings or bushes, then confirm endplay and clearances after assembly. Follow a controlled running-in procedure and inspect the rod during initial tuning sessions.
