Compact 6x12x4mm bearings for RC components

This Yokomo BB-126-4 set delivers four 6x12x4mm steel ball bearings tailored for RC-scale parts. They suit typical locations such as wheel hubs, differentials, motor shafts and gearbox bearings on electric RC cars. Supplied as 4 pcs to enable comprehensive replacement during maintenance or selective upgrades.

In use, these bearings reduce rotational drag, stabilise shaft alignment and limit abrasive wear between mating surfaces. Installing fresh bearings can give tangible gains in drivetrain smoothness and throttle response while leaving gearing and electronics unchanged.

Fitment pointers: check that the 6mm bore fits the shaft and the 12mm outer matches the housing before pressing. Employ a bearing driver or a socket that bears on the outer race so the inner race is not stressed, then verify endplay after installation. Avoid forcing bearings into undersized bores and carry light grease or bearing oil for reassembly when needed.

Upkeep tips: watch for noise, binding or play, clean bearings with a suitable solvent if contaminated, and relubricate with a low-viscosity oil for best free-spin. Replace bearings showing pitting, excessive looseness, or overheating in normal running.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Measure the shaft diameter (6mm) and the housing bore (12mm) and compare to the 6x12x4mm spec; the third figure is the bearing width.
Support the outer race and press evenly using a driver or socket. Do not push on the inner race and avoid deforming plastic parts by using the correct driver size.
Regularly inspect for roughness or play, clean with an appropriate solvent if contaminated, and apply low-viscosity bearing oil to restore free rotation. Replace if damage is found.
