Compact shielded bearings for tight spaces

This product is a Kyosho BRG417 twin pack of shielded bearings sized 7x14x4, suitable for scale R/C drivetrain duties and small linkages. The shields act to slow contamination while preserving low-friction operation where space is limited. The 7x14x4 dimension describes bore, outside diameter and width so you can ensure compatibility with your shafts and housings.

Install carefully: drive the bearing in square on the outer race, confirm shaft and bore tolerances before final installation, and retain using the original spacers or snap rings. Two pieces are included so you can complete both sides or keep a ready spare for routine servicing.

For longevity, keep the shield areas free of abrasive grit and avoid packing the seal gap with thick lubricants that entrap dust. Light, purpose-made bearing oil used sparingly will extend service life and lower friction. Replacing tired bearings returns noisy or imprecise drivetrain components to smooth, predictable operation.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Lifespan depends on conditions: dusty or wet environments shorten life, while regular light lubrication and cleaning extend it. Check for play and noise as wear signs.
Yes, you can clean them with solvent and dry carefully, then apply a small drop of bearing oil. Avoid forcing bulky grease into the shielded gap.
Listen for grinding or rumble, feel for rough rotation or axial play, and look for excessive end float; these indicate replacement is due.
