Good Flow with Easy Washing

This paint lays down smoothly and gives good opacity for fine work and colour blocking. While still wet it can be washed off with water for simple corrections. For spraying, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner for consistent atomisation; use Tamiya Lacquer Thinner when you want quicker drying and a more durable finish.

Tidy Matte Results and Additives

The XF-88 is part of Tamiya's flat range, offering a matte look that suits scale realism. To improve brush-applied results try Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) to slow drying and reduce brush marks. It is a useful base colour for many modelling schemes.
