XF-7 Flat Red from Tamiya for Hobby Models

Tamiya XF-7 Flat Red comes in a compact 23ml bottle and is a water soluble acrylic ideal for hobby projects. It is suitable for brushwork or airbrush use and bonds well to styrol resins, Styrofoam, timber and common modelling plastics.

The XF-7 gives dependable coverage with a flat, even finish that works well on small figures and kit surfaces. It blends smoothly with other acrylics for subtle shading and custom colour work without grainy results.

Preparing for Airbrush Use

For airbrushing, thin XF-7 using approved Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520 or 87077 to reach the proper spray consistency. Test spray on scrap material to dial in thinning ratios.
