Acura NSX Construction Notes

This Kyosho 39213LWB body set supplies an RC-scale, unpainted Acura NSX shell in a lightweight Pure Ten finish, intended for FAZER Mk2 on-road chassis. The plain, decal-free surface is ideal for custom paint and trimming while keeping overall weight down to aid responsiveness.

As a replacement or upgrade body, this shell focuses on fit and serviceability over decorative detailing. Follow conventional polycarbonate trimming routines: trial-fit, mark wheel arches and body posts, then cut carefully to clear wheel movement. Secure the shell using the existing FAZER Mk2 body posts and clips without altering the chassis.

From a durability and setup angle, the lighter shell lowers inertial mass which can slightly change cornering behaviour; re-check ride height and clearances after fitting and alter body mounts if necessary to prevent contact with suspension or tyres. This product suits hobbyists performing repainting, light-weight setup experiments, or routine body swaps on FAZER Mk2 machines.

Compatibility

Compatible with FAZER Mk2 on-road series, Mk2 FZ02 chassis family.

The Kyosho 39213LWB is moulded from flexible polycarbonate-style material that resists minor knocks, but it is not impact-proof; reinforce high-stress areas and avoid heavy collisions.
Yes, clean and lightly scuff the surface and use paints formulated for polycarbonate to ensure good adhesion.
Small cracks can often be repaired with polycarbonate-compatible adhesives and backing patches, but extensive damage usually requires replacement.
No chassis modifications are expected; use the FAZER Mk2 body posts and clips and trim the shell for clearance as needed.
