Replacement adjust screw and spring for LAW88

This Kyosho LAW88-03 replacement pack supplies the adjust screw and spring meant for the LAW88 one-way slipper clutch used in RC cars. These components set preload and engagement characteristics inside the slipper rather than changing main drive ratios.

Use the pack to refresh fatigued adjusters or springs, regain predictable engagement, or include it in incremental tuning sessions to dial in traction transfer. The screw adjusts preload; the spring defines resistance to slipping. Even slight screw adjustments will alter the engagement response.

Fitting guidance: remove the slipper cover per your chassis instructions, replace the old adjust screw and spring with the new parts, then reassemble. Work in small adjustments and bench-test before running at speed. This item is intended specifically for the LAW88 one-way slipper clutch assembly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is model specific and designed to fit the LAW88 one-way slipper clutch only; it replaces the internal adjust screw and spring for that assembly.
Prepare simple hand tools: the hex or screwdriver that fits the adjust screw head, and a tidy bench area for disassembly and reassembly.
Document initial screw position, then alter by small amounts and retest. Consistency comes from small, repeatable changes rather than large jumps.
Check the screw and spring during regular slipper maintenance intervals; replace the set if you notice wear, corrosion, or inconsistent engagement behavior.
