This aluminum cooling fan mount is made for the BD9 touring chassis family and gives a tidy, low-profile mounting point for a small cooling fan (fan sold separately). It is supplied as an aftermarket cooling aid to keep electronics and motor temperatures more consistent during track practice or bench tuning.
Fitting is direct on BD9 layouts: the bracket uses the designated BD9 fan area and attaches via the chassis' existing screw locations, so you will need small screws which are not supplied. The design accepts common 30mm square fans and aims airflow at the components that need it most.
Using this mount during short runs can stabilise electronic temperatures, which helps with repeatable test conditions for motor and ESC performance while leaving chassis geometry unchanged.
