Slim Fan Designed for Tight Mounts

The Yokomo D-CFRA Aluminum Frame 30mm Cooling Fan in red is made to improve airflow over small motors without taking up much space. Its aluminium construction sheds heat effectively and suits low-clearance installations on drift and touring chassis.

Voltage Options and Lead Length

This fan accepts common voltages including 6V from a BEC and 7.4V from a Li-po source. It connects via a pin plug to the receiver and the wire is about 18cm long, giving enough reach for neat installation inside the shell.

Fitting Advice

With a frame thickness near 10.5mm, the unit needs a 15mm button head screw to attach securely; that screw is not supplied. Test fit the fan before final assembly to avoid rubbing on nearby components.

Is the fan suitable for non YD-2 chassis?

Yes. Provided the chassis has space for a 30mm fan and a compatible mounting point, the D-CFRA will work on many compact models.

Will the fan draw too much current from my receiver?

No, typical 30mm fans have low current draw. Still, check your receiver/BEC capacity and avoid powering multiple accessories from a single small regulator.

How should I clean the fan after running?

Blow out dust with compressed air and wipe the frame with a soft cloth. Remove the fan for a deeper clean if dirt gets into the bearing area.

Do I need any adapters to fit this fan?

No adapters for power are usually required; the fan uses a standard pin connector. You will need a 15mm button head screw for mounting, sold separately.
