Durable aluminium bell crank for YZ-2DTM2

This aluminium steering bell crank set mirrors the layout used on the YZ-2DTM2 and is built to influence steering geometry on low-traction surfaces. The Ackermann characteristics suit dirt and similar loose conditions to help the chassis maintain a steadier line through turns.

Replacing the stock plastic assembly with an aluminium unit reduces deflection and improves repeatability under load. The component is intended as a direct-fit replacement for the listed YZ-2 variants and attaches to the original steering mounting points so setup remains consistent.

Be aware that the pillow ball arrangement on this version differs from the World Edition; the World Edition uses a different pillow ball specification.

Yes; aluminium reduces flex and is less prone to deformation under heavy use, though regular inspection of pillow balls and fasteners is still recommended.
Different pillow ball setups change load paths; this version’s arrangement is not the same as the World Edition and may show different wear patterns, so monitor seating and replace abused parts as needed.
Keep contact points clean, check pillow ball fitment periodically, and verify fastener torque after heavy runs to prevent accelerated wear.
Aluminium offers increased stiffness but can suffer damage from hard impacts; inspect for deformation or fractures after crashes and replace if signs of damage appear.
