BD5 sway bar mount, model BD-412H

This blue-anodized aluminum mount secures the stabilizer assembly on Yokomo BD5 chassis types. The anodized surface improves corrosion resistance and delivers a uniform finish for chassis presentation without affecting mechanical performance.

Mounting is simple: swap out the stock holder or fit this unit where the stabilizer attaches, line up the stabilizer link and tighten the set screws. It is advisable to use thread locking compound on the set screws to reduce loosening caused by vibration.

In use, the holder maintains consistent sway bar locating points so roll balance and transient response remain repeatable during setup. Apply common sway bar tuning practices when changing bar rate or link positions on the BD5 platform.

Wipe the holder clean of grit and apply light protection if exposed to moisture frequently; recheck fastener tightness after a few runs.
The anodizing is primarily cosmetic and protective; it does not alter the part geometry or intended function.
