The Arrowmax AM-920045 AM Medius FWD bumper foam is designed as a front nose insert for AM Medius FWD cars. It sits inside the front bumper shell as a replaceable foam pad to absorb light impacts and cut down on shock transmission into the chassis.
As a foam component its role is straightforward: it soaks up front-end energy to help protect the bodyshell and reduce sharp feedback to steering and suspension parts. This item is a tuning piece rather than an electronic or mechanical component, used to tweak front compliance and driving feel.
Installation is quick and chassis centred: remove the bumper shell, place the foam into the bumper cavity aligning it with the body contact zones, then refit the bumper with the original fasteners. If necessary, trim small sections for a snug fit; no modifications to suspension or mounting points are required.
Setup notes: shifting the foam forward or back, or stacking thin pads, will change front firmness or softness and influence braking bite and initial turn-in. Make small adjustments and try them on the surface you normally run to assess handling differences.
