This aftermarket 20T servo saver is made for specific ARRMA 1/16 Mini Kraton kits and selected LOSI 1/12 on-road models. Produced from durable 7075 aluminum, it aims to maintain a low weight while delivering repeatable tooth engagement and improved resistance to wear. The spline is a 20-tooth pattern with a 4.7mm diameter, matching common 20T servo outputs.
As a mechanical buffer, the saver uses an internal spring to absorb steering impacts and reduce shock transfer into the servo gears. A tight fit can occur with some SPM servos; if so, align the splines and press the unit evenly to seat the teeth fully before final assembly.
Fitting is straightforward for those experienced with small-scale RC steering: remove the OEM saver, verify spline alignment, and press this replacement onto the servo shaft until it fully seats. Fasteners are supplied pre-assembled, and using a medium-strength threadlocker on screws is advised to keep everything secure under vibration.
This component is intended solely for model RC steering systems and is not suitable for use on any full-size vehicles.
