This fully assembled center differential is a precision aftermarket upgrade for ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S vehicles and serves as a direct replacement for factory part number ARA-2985. The internals use 20CrMnTi steel gears in a 7075 aluminum housing, and the gear profile has been strengthened to improve meshing and reduce drivetrain drag.

The assembled unit is a 38T, module 0.8 differential built for 3.175mm motor shafts. The package includes a motor plate plus a 15T motor pinion (0.8 mod) and accepts motor pinions sized 11T-23T on the same 3.175mm bore. Note that differential oil is not included, so viscous fluid must be added to set damping and handling balance.

Installation notes: many subcomponents come pre-assembled where applicable, and use of medium-strength threadlocker on critical screws is recommended to prevent loosening during running. The motor plate and hardware provided allow replacement of the center assembly without major chassis changes.

Tuning guidance: since the diff is shipped dry, tailor viscous damping to your setup. As a benchmark try 50K CST front, 30K CST rear, and considerably higher values such as 500K CST or 1000K CST in the center depending on traction and steering feel desired.
