Heavy Duty Battery Retention for MINI KRATON 3S

This aftermarket retainer replaces the factory battery hold-down (ARA-2665) on 1/16 ARRMA MINI KRATON 3S vehicles and is intended strictly for RC battery retention, not for real vehicle application.

Precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, the retainer offers a stiffer mounting surface than stock plastic parts and includes an adjustable strap to clamp higher-capacity packs. It accepts battery case thicknesses of 30mm or greater when used with the supplied strap configuration, suitable for larger LiPo cells used in aggressive 1/16 scale running.

Fitting is straightforward using the supplied Grade 12.9 cap head screw to replace the factory piece in the front and rear hold-down positions. The stronger mounting reduces movement under load and makes chassis balance more repeatable for setup tuning.
