High-strength rear hub for MINI KRATON 3S

This aftermarket rear hub is precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and is intended for 1/16 scale ARRMA MINI KRATON 3S vehicles. Upgrading from the stock plastic hub increases resistance to wear and impact by using a higher-grade alloy and larger rolling elements where noted. It is a direct replacement for factory part ARA-2677 and ships with upgraded inner and outer bearings to suit the changed bore dimensions.

The principal bearing updates listed by the manufacturer are an inner bearing of 7x17x5mm and an outer bearing of 7x14x5mm versus the original 7x14x4mm inner and outer sizes. These larger bearings alter the hub-to-axle interface and can reduce endplay while improving service life under demanding off-road conditions.

Units come pre-assembled to simplify installation and the package provides the parts required for a direct swap of the rear hub assembly. For a secure installation we advise applying medium-strength screw glue to fasteners in locations where threadlocker is normally used to reduce risk of loosening during vibration-heavy runs.
