Protective cap shield for Talion 6S EXB

An aftermarket shock cap protector built to guard the shock cap and the surrounding tower area on ARRMA Talion 6S EXB platforms. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the design resists abrasion and impact to limit damage during hard off-road use.

Designed as a direct replacement for factory part AR330492 and commonly referenced as ARAC8965 in parts lists. Supplied as a pair (2pcs) for the ARRMA 1/7 and 1/8 models listed below.

Fitting is carried out by removing the wheel to access the shock assembly, removing the stock cap or fasteners if needed, positioning the protector over the cap, and reassembling. This is a protective add-on and does not affect internal damping settings.

What tools are needed to fit the protector?

Basic hand tools are sufficient: wheel removal tools, a small socket or hex driver to access the shock fasteners, and a torque feeler if you prefer to check screw tightness after refit.

Is the protector supplied as a single item or in pairs?

The product is supplied as a pair (2pcs), intended for one axle of the listed ARRMA 1/7 and 1/8 models; order quantities accordingly for full-vehicle coverage.

Are there any special alignment steps during installation?

Ensure the protector sits flush around the cap area and that mounting screws are secure but not over-torqued; recheck wheel clearance after reassembly.
