High-viscosity 900cst shock oil for scale R/C

The Arrowmax am-210014 formula ships in a 59ml container as a 900cst silicone shock fluid intended for scale R/C shock absorbers and dampers. Sold as a maintenance and tuning item, it adjusts damping by changing oil viscosity rather than swapping mechanical parts.

Functionally the oil controls compression and rebound timing: a thicker 900cst fluid increases damping force and slows rebound motion, whereas thinner oils allow quicker response. Use this grade when you need firmer damping characteristics for your setup.

Service steps are conventional: disassemble the shock safely, drain the existing fluid, check seals and pistons for wear, then fill and bleed in line with your shock maker's procedure. Stick to the fill volumes and piston setups recommended for your shocks.

Store the bottle upright with the cap tight, keep it clean and dry, and do not mix different formulations unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility. Regularly check seals and cleanliness to avoid inconsistent damping.

A 59ml bottle gives enough oil for several rebuilds and lets you test 900cst damping across different track surfaces or conditions.

The figure denotes kinematic viscosity in centistokes. At 900cst the fluid is relatively viscous for scale shocks, producing heavier damping versus lower values.
Thicker fluids can reduce rapid seal extrusion in some conditions, but they do not replace worn seals. Inspect and replace seals when necessary to prevent leaks and contamination.
Arrowmax silicone shock oils are formulated to work with standard shock seals and elastomers used in R/C shocks. Still, always inspect seals for wear and avoid introducing solvents that could degrade rubber parts.
Keep the bottle capped, upright, in a cool dry place away from dust. Do not expose to direct sunlight and avoid storing near strong solvents or fuels.
