Precision 1.000cSt silicone oil for differential tuning

This Arrowmax am-210015 silicone diff fluid is provided in a 59ml bottle and specified at 1.000cSt, intended as a low-viscosity option for RC differential assemblies. It is supplied solely as an aftermarket tuning accessory for hobby radio control models.

How it works — The oil moderates torque transfer inside the diff to alter turn-in, mid-corner balance, and how traction shifts under load. With a 1.000cSt rating the product gives very light internal damping while still keeping gears and bearings lubricated within the diff housing.

Fitment notes — Suitable for diffs that accept silicone oils, including both sealed and open constructions typically found in 1/10 scale and similar models. Verify that your seals and internal materials are compatible with silicone oil to prevent material swelling or degradation.

Filling advice — Use minimal amounts when testing this low-viscosity grade; a few drops per pocket is a usual starting point. Cycle the drivetrain slowly after filling to work out trapped air, then test on gentle runs before applying full throttle. Use a clean syringe or precision applicator to maintain dosing accuracy and cleanliness.

Tuning tips — Expect snappier transient response and improved low-speed steering compared to thicker fluids. Adjust shock damping and anti-roll settings in small steps alongside diff oil changes to reach the desired handling balance.

A 1.000cSt oil provides minimal damping so the diff behaves more freely, producing quicker steering response and less internal lock compared with heavier fluids that slow transients and increase mid-corner stability.
Silicone oils can interact with some seal materials. Check the diff manufacturer recommendations and test on a small section if unsure. If seals swell or deteriorate, discontinue use and select a compatible oil or seal material.
