Role in driveline tuning

This titanium universal swing shaft is an RC-scale driveline upgrade intended for the Associated RC 18T chassis. Supplied as one pair (1pr) in a CVD-style format, the shafts replace the original parts to give a harder-wearing connection where titanium is preferred.

Used where the stock CVD interface exists, the shaft stiffens the link from gearbox output to wheel hub and can reduce slack that develops under repeated runs. It is a tuning component aimed at improving repeatability rather than changing suspension geometry.

Fitting involves removing rear driveline elements and inspecting mating faces for clearance and correct seating of the CVD-style ends prior to final assembly.
