RC18T graphite drive shaft details

This graphite main shaft is made for the Associated RC18T and supplied as a single piece replacement. It serves as the direct-drive element that transmits motor torque into the gearbox and along the spur and pinion train.

Graphite gives reduced mass with sufficient rigidity compared to many steel items, helping to reduce rotating inertia while keeping strength suitable for track or club racing. As an aftermarket part it follows the RC18T geometry and will not change chassis mounting or alignment points.

Fitment takes place in the gearbox area by removing the original shaft and inserting the replacement in the same orientation; confirm spur and pinion alignment, set correct mesh and verify bearing seating after installation. Sold as 1 pcs and intended as a spare or upgrade shaft for Associated RC18T cars.
