This motor plate is made to fit the AX10 Scorpion chassis and take 28mm brushless motors, creating a fixed surface that determines the motor location relative to the spur gear and pinion so gear mesh can be consistent run to run.
Fitment is usually done on the bench: place the motor, check pinion to spur engagement then secure fasteners. Make sure there is clearance from the servo and ESC and tweak position or use shims for ideal spacing. Use appropriate screws and double check thread engagement with the chassis mounting points.
From a setup perspective, the plate gives you control over motor offset and alignment without modifying gearbox parts. Small adjustments change noise levels and heat distribution, so confirm mesh under brief loaded runs to ensure reliability.
