Upper front link mount for SCX24 chassis

This front upper link mount is machined from 6061 T6 aluminium as a scale replacement for the AXIAL 4WD SCX24 DEADBOLT. The part reduces flex at the upper link anchor and helps maintain consistent link angles when crawling over rocks and roots.

Installation is simple: secure the mount to the front upper section of the chassis using the included fasteners, replacing the stock plastic part to give a firmer pivot for the upper link. The pack includes Link Mount - 1pcs, Cap Head Screw 1.4x10 - 2pcs, Cap Head Screw 1.4x8 - 1pcs which align with the factory holes so extra work is rarely needed.

During setup, use the alloy mount to stabilise front-end behaviour and tune suspension feedback for predictable handling. Retorque the screws after initial runs and inspect them regularly to ensure reliable fitment on rough trails.

Will this mount fit without drilling?

Yes, the mount is made to match the stock hole pattern so no additional drilling is normally required for standard SCX24 frames.

Is the aluminium prone to corrosion?
