This machined steering block is offered as an aluminum hop-up for the Axial AX10 Deadbolt chassis. Designed as an RC-scale upgrade, it replaces molded plastic blocks to reduce flex and establish a more rigid anchor for the steering knuckle.
Material and finish: machined from aluminum and finished in anodized orange to improve surface durability while matching orange build schemes. It functions as a direct chassis-level mount for the steering link and is intended for model use only.
Installation notes: fitting requires removal of the original steering block and separation of the steering knuckle. Many users retain the factory steering hardware; confirm fastener types before starting. Perform fitment checks and control hex screw torque to prevent stripping knuckle or hub threads.
Tuning role: installing an aluminum block lowers pivot compliance, helping the axle hold alignment under load and offering more precise steering feedback on technical trails.
