This brass outer portal drive housing has been produced for AXIAL Capra 1.9 Unlimited platforms to deliberately raise unsprung mass and modify slow-speed behaviour. The unit works on either front or rear portals provided wheel inner diameter and mounting clearances suit the part.
Each housing adds about 64g to the wheel end, increasing downward force on obstacles and helping the vehicle power out of tucked positions by improving traction and low-speed stability. The outer diameter measures 43mm, so wheels need an inner bore larger than 43mm for proper fitment.
The product is a direct aftermarket replacement for hobby rock crawlers and trail rigs and does not include internal gears or bearings. Fit using the supplied cap head screws and check for interference before final installation.
