Centre Gearbox Protection Plate

This stainless steel centre gear box bottom protector is produced for the AXIAL CAPRA 1.9 UNLIMITED chassis and comes as 1 pcs. It mounts beneath the central gearbox to limit entry of sand and small rocks and to reduce impact damage when tackling rough terrain and scale rock sections.

Construction: built from stainless steel to provide resistance to corrosion where dirt and moisture combine, suitable for repeated outdoor use. The design features locating holes aligned to the upper main shaft fasteners so the main shaft can be serviced without removing the protector, preserving easy access.

Installation notes: position the protector on the gearbox mounting points, fit using the original screws where possible, and check clearance to adjacent drivetrain components before first use. This is an aftermarket RC accessory for chassis protection and does not change internal gearbox layout.

Tuning role: this plate is a practical chassis protection upgrade that adds abrasion and impact resistance to the centre gearbox area. After heavy trail sessions inspect fasteners, ground clearance and chassis balance.
