Protection overview

This axle protector mount is an RC-scale upgrade made for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II to shield the axle housing from direct strikes. It combines a CNC-friendly aluminium mounting plate with a resilient plastic protector to absorb hits encountered on rough trails.

The protector mounts over the axle housing and transfers impact energy into the protector body rather than the axle shell, helping to reduce dents and sudden shocks to the axle assembly. The kit includes two 2.5x16 stainless steel cap head screws, and the lightweight layout is tuned to avoid upsetting vehicle balance.

Fit and check for steering and suspension clearance before running, and use the protector to preserve axle internals during technical rock crawling. This is an aftermarket part for hobby models only.
