Can I use this mount with brushed and brushless motors?

The mount supports both motor types as long as the motor fitment and shaft alignment match the Yeti gearbox layout.

Will this change gear mesh settings?

Switching to the aluminum mount can alter motor position slightly; always verify and adjust pinion to spur mesh after fitting.

Is the finish prone to corrosion?

The alloy is corrosion resistant but you should rinse and dry the parts after exposure to salt or heavy mud to extend service life.
