Rear link graphite inserts for Yeti

The GYT017 kit provides a pair of graphite rear link stiffeners intended for the Axial Racing Yeti platform. Fitted at the rear link mounts, the inserts are a chassis-level upgrade to reduce unwanted flex where the links join the suspension.

Graphite was selected to give a pronounced stiffness increase over common plastic parts while keeping added weight minimal. The component works as a reinforcement that alters load paths through the rear link assembly rather than changing suspension geometry directly.

Fitting advice: the part replaces or complements the original rear link components at the designated mounting points and uses the car's existing fasteners. Basic teardown of the link area is needed and final alignment checks are recommended to prevent binding. Tighten pivots carefully to avoid overtensioning.

It is designed for the Axial Racing Yeti platform; most standard and lightly modified setups will accept the insert but check link geometry on heavily modified cars.
The insert stiffens the link area, which can make rear-end reactions feel firmer; adjust damping or spring rate if you need to retain compliance on rough surfaces.
After installation, check link alignment, run through steering and suspension travel, and recheck fastener torque after the first test session.
