Hex adapters sized for RR10 Bomber

These aluminium wheel hex adapters are made for use on AXIAL Racing RR10 Bomber style rigs, producing a 23mm hex assembly width to help with side-to-side stability in technical terrain. They are intended for scale RC applications and accept wheels with a 5mm centre hole while mounting to 4mm threaded wheel shafts.

The retention system uses a Delrin collar placed inside the hex, combined with an O-ring on one side, a spring steel retaining ring, a compression spring with washers, and a stainless screw on the opposite face. This arrangement holds the assembly steady during low speed, high traction crawling so tyres remain indexed on the hub.

Fitting advice: push the hex onto the 4mm threaded shaft, confirm the Delrin collar sits flush, compress the spring and secure the stainless screw until axial play is eliminated but the wheel spins freely. Verify wheel alignment after a short test and re-torque if required.

  • 22MM Stainless Steel Hex Socket Screws - 2pcs
  • 5MM Shim - 2pcs
  • 2 x M3.5 x 12 Screw Shaft - 2pcs
  • 2 x 10 Steel Pin - 2pcs
  • 5MM hole S2 Spacer - 2pcs
They should, provided the wheel bore and hub face are compatible and the extra 23mm width does not conflict with suspension or bodywork.
A light application of removable threadlocker can help retain the screw without making future adjustments difficult. Avoid permanent threadlock on parts you may need to service.
Periodically check the screw torque, inspect the O-ring and Delrin collar for wear, and replace any worn spacers or pins to maintain reliable indexing.
