Aluminium steering link plus reinforced servo saver

This aftermarket assembly replaces the original plastic steering link on Axial RR10 Bomber cars and adds a hi-torque servo saver to protect the servo horn during heavy loads. It is intended as a durable upgrade for improved steering accuracy on scale crawler setups.

Manufactured from machined aluminium, the components are made to match RR10 Bomber mounting points. Fitting normally requires removal of the factory link, transfer of any reusable fasteners, and installation with the correct hex hardware while verifying thread engagement. Test the fit and steering geometry before final torqueing.

In practice this kit reduces steering linkage flex and produces a firmer response from the wheel. The hi-torque servo saver absorbs impact forces that would otherwise be transmitted directly to the servo horn, helping to preserve servo longevity and consistent trim during demanding off-road use.

Specifications

  • Item: Steering link and hi-torque servo saver set, 1 pcs
  • Material: Aluminium
  • Model Number: RR1160TM
  • Compatibility: Axial Racing RR10 Bomber

Ideal for those wanting a metal upgrade on their RR10 Bomber steering system; always verify centring and steering travel after installation.

The set is designed to match stock geometry, but small differences can occur; confirm lengths and pivot spacing before permanent fitment.
Check fastener torque periodically, inspect for wear at the saver interface, and replace any damaged hardware to maintain performance.
Compatibility depends on knuckle hole spacing; measure and compare before fitting if you use non-stock knuckles or hubs.
After installation, centre the servo, verify neutral toe, and operate the steering through full travel to check for binding or interference.
