This 1 pr kit provides front and rear alloy damper mounts for the Axial Racing SCX10 chassis. Solid machined alloy construction creates a firm upper shock mount and the series of threaded holes lets you move the upper eye to alter leverage and adjust ride height for scale crawler setups.
Installation is intended for hobbyists comfortable with basic disassembly: remove the factory plastic mount, fit the alloy mount on the original bosses, and secure using the existing hardware where suitable. After fitting, verify that the shock shafts are aligned and have full travel to prevent binding. Small body or wiring adjustments may be needed depending on your configuration.
Tuning guidance: different hole selections change shock angle and effective spring rate, affecting articulation and body roll. Choose higher holes for added droop and lower holes to stiffen the stance. Check fastener torque after the first outing and service periodically.
Care tips: watch threads for wear, use thread-locker on steel bolts when appropriate, and keep contact surfaces clean to retain a snug fit. This part is made for hobby RC applications only and is not suitable for real vehicle use.
