This JAZRIDER aluminum transmission spur gear case cover is a scale accessory made specifically for the Axial Racing SCX-10 Honcho and Dingo chassis. The gunmetal finish gives a metal replacement for the stock plastic surface around the spur gear, producing a stiffer mounting plane and improved alignment under load.

Fit and purpose: the piece supports the spur gear and the adjoining gearbox interface so mesh stays consistent during low-speed, technical crawling. It uses the existing mounting points and hardware so no change to the original attachment layout is required.

Installation tips: fitting the aluminium cover creates a firmer gearbox top which can reduce spur movement when under torque. For best results, check and set pinion-to-spur mesh and backlash to the chassis' recommended values after installation; the cover itself does not include mesh adjustment features.
