Aluminium centre gearcase for SCX-10 II

This aluminium centre gearcase is a scale replacement set intended for AXIAL SCX-10 II models. It substitutes the factory plastic centre gearbox with a tougher metal housing to shield the motor area and concentrate upgrades on driveline durability.

The unit retains the original mounting points and aligns with the SCX-10 II centre drivetrain arrangement found on the AX90046 Jeep Cherokee platform. The material choice and part geometry are intended to keep correct gear mesh while improving resistance to knocks and deformation compared with the plastic OEM piece.

The package as supplied contains stainless steel fastening hardware: 3x14 flat head screw - 2 pcs, 3x12 flat head screw - 3 pcs, 3x20 flat head screw - 2 pcs, 3x10 flat head screw - 3 pcs, 2.5x6 flat head screw - 2 pcs, 3x10 button head screw - 1 pcs, 3x12 button head screw - 2 pcs, and 3x10 cap head screw - 2 pcs. These fasteners are used to secure the aluminium shell to the existing chassis points.

Use the appropriate hex and small Phillips drivers for the flat, button and cap head screws listed in the kit. A set of small hex drivers will cover the sizes provided.
