This RC front frame brace fits the Axial SCX10 II chassis and is supplied as model JR-AS209. The lightweight alloy plate is intended to limit front-end flex and prevent repetitive movement of plastic brackets under load, which helps reduce fatigue and potential cracking on frequently used trail rigs.
Fitting normally uses the SCX10 II's existing mounting points and hardware; the brace can replace the stock support or serve as an additional reinforcement depending on your factory setup. When installed the brace routes loads through the alloy instead of the molded rail sections, increasing reliability on tough lines.
Tuning advice: this upgrade stiffens the chassis rather than altering suspension geometry. You will notice a firmer front response and more consistent steering on technical obstacles. Inspect and retorque fasteners after an initial break-in run to ensure secure contact and prevent fretting.
