Track widening hex adapters for SCX10 II

This pair of aluminium wheel hex adapters increases effective axle width by 25mm to broaden the stance of Axial SCX10 II crawlers, helping stability on uneven rock and technical sections. They fit 4mm threaded wheel shafts and wheels with a 4mm hub bore.

The assembly centers the wheel with a Delrin collar, uses an O-ring on one side and a spring-steel retaining ring with springs and washers on the other to control axial play. A stainless cap-head screw secures the stack and locks the hex to the shaft to prevent independent wheel rotation under heavy pull.

Tuning and fit notes: check that your wheel bore and shaft thread are both 4mm before installation, hand-rotate to check runout, and inspect for clearance to suspension arms and body panels after fitting wider track. Remember that a wider track increases loads on bearings and linkages, so re-inspect bearing seating and steering geometry.
