The SCJ1906H wheel and tyre set is an aftermarket upgrade aimed at 1/10 scale crawlers. The machined aluminium 6-spoke rim offers strength without excessive bulk and is matched to a deep-lug crawler tyre tread to improve traction on rocky and uneven lines. The wheel is machined to accept a 12mm hex and a 5mm shaft hole found on many popular crawler axles.
Each wheel houses a 100g brass pendulum insert that lowers mass toward the rim, increasing contact patch load and helping the vehicle maintain grip on steep climbs without relying on electronic ballast. The combination of lugged tyre and low-slung weight improves static traction while keeping suspension and drivetrain geometry unchanged.
Critical measurements supplied for setup: outer diameter 115mm, inner diameter 48.26mm (1.9"), tyre width 40mm, hex size 12mm, wheel mass 172g (without brass), brass insert 100g. Reference these numbers when adjusting unsprung mass calculations, gear ratios, or shock valving for consistent crawl behavior.
Compatibility: intended for 1/10 crawlers using 1.9" tyres with 12mm hex hubs and 5mm shaft holes. Verify hub standards on your chassis prior to fitment. The kit includes two pre-assembled wheel-and-tyre units each fitted with the 100g brass insert.
This wheel-and-tyre option suits drivers wanting added mechanical ballast and an aggressive tread for improved low-speed hold, delivered without drivetrain modification.
