This scale center CVD drive shaft is designed specifically for AXIAL SCX10 III Jeep CJ-7 projects and is offered as an aftermarket upgrade by GPM. Construction mixes 4140 carbon steel pieces with 6061-T6 alloy parts to provide improved wear resistance while keeping weight manageable for model use.

The CVD configuration helps reduce driveline lash and lowers power loss versus standard dogbone arrangements, giving a cleaner transfer of motor torque to the axles on rock crawlers and trail rigs. Source measurements list a folded length near 92mm and an extended length near 106mm; the unit fits 5mm output shafts and replaces AXI-2063+AXIC1148.

Rubber dust covers are fitted over the joint areas to help keep grit and sand out, decreasing internal wear and simplifying regular maintenance after off-road runs. This part is intended only for RC model applications and not for full-size vehicles.
