This aftermarket pendulum wheel knuckle weight suits crawling platforms based on Axial SCX10 layouts. It combines a brass main weight with an alloy cover and removable stainless steel rolling beads so you can tune the downward load at each wheel for improved grip on technical lines and uneven terrain.
By locating weight low and outboard at the knuckle, the pendulum keeps downward force more constant through articulation. The stainless beads roll inside the carrier to reduce friction; each bead is approximately 4g and removable to reach your target wheel mass. Stainless parts are chosen to minimise rust when running in wet conditions.
Key fitment points: the units mount to the outer face of front and rear knuckles, they need wheels with a 45mm internal diameter and hubs with 5mm thread holes, and the kit includes a 21mm hex adapter to broaden effective hex width for wider wheels. Typical assembled weight per unit is around 66 to 86 grams with eight beads fitted, and retaining at least three beads is recommended for stable handling.
Fit these pendulum weights to increase low-speed traction and wheel contact stability; verify wheel ID and hub thread size ahead of installation and tune bead count to suit terrain and driving style.
