Pendulum hub assembly for better contact
The SCX023 pendulum wheel knuckle with 21mm hex adapter from GPM is designed for Axial SCX10 vehicles and certain Gmade models. It uses a bearing-centred pendulum paired with a Delrin collar and a tapered weight layout to keep mass low in the wheel envelope, promoting steadier contact during steep wheel angles.
By increasing the per-wheel mass, the kit helps maintain traction when a tyre drops into a depression or when negotiating shallow obstacles. The pendulum's narrower upper section and wider lower section keep the weight downwards as wheels move through steering and suspension travel, lowering the effective centre of gravity at the rim.
Notes on fit: the 21mm hex broadens the hub flange relative to many factory hexes, and the pendulum uses a bearing plus Delrin sleeve for smooth operation. The combined weight for a single pendulum and hex is listed as 54 grams, and the hex width is specified at 21mm by the manufacturer.
Mounting requirements: suitable for wheels with a 45mm inner diameter and that accept a 5mm threaded hole for fastening. Verify your wheel inner diameter and thread before installation.
